There’s something to be said for living above a Chinese grocery store, and one of those things is “Oooh, interesting sodas!” Fanta is a global powerhouse of fruit flavoured sodas owned by Coca-Cola. It’s got a checkered pass, originally having been invented in Germany early during World War II, out of commercial necessity, when the import of Coca-Cola syrup was blocked. Coca-Cola Deutschland was essentially cut off from Coca-Cola central, to be reclaimed after the end of the war, but was never rolled into the Nazi regime.
So, Fanta Green Apple is a little bit sour, and very crisp. It’s very flavourful, even if it’s not quite what I’m usually looking for.
